Shaping the future

over the long run

We invest not only in companies, but in ideas, people, and networks that open up opportunities for the future as well.

Vision 2035

The Hartung Foundation sees wealth not as an end in itself, but as a foundation for connecting entrepreneurial development, innovation, and societal value in a lasting way.

In the years ahead, we will continue to expand our role as an entrepreneurially minded investor. Our focus lies on long-term holdings and on supporting companies that combine economic substance with innovative strength. What matters to us is not short-term returns, but responsible entrepreneurship and sustainability over long time horizons.

In parallel, we are expanding our international network of entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions. We see networking as part of economic development: the exchange of knowledge and contacts creates new opportunities – for companies and regions alike.

Cultural engagement remains another of our priorities. At present, these efforts include the Eilenburg indoor swimming pool, the KUNSTwoche Eilenburg, and the Bandcommunity Leipzig, among others.

We remain particularly connected to the international stage and event technology industry – the sector in which our family’s entrepreneurial roots lie. We actively support new technologies and entrepreneurial ideas, backing them strategically or financially wherever it makes sense.
