Who we are

Foun­ded in 2012 by Frank-Rai­ner & Susan­ne Har­tung, the foun­da­ti­on is the con­ti­nua­tion of an inter­na­tio­nal­ly suc­cessful fami­ly busi­ness from the pro­fes­sio­nal stage tech­no­lo­gy sec­tor, which deve­lo­ped the first com­pu­te­ri­sed chain hoist con­trol sys­tem for scenic use abo­ve peo­p­le in 1994, cer­ti­fied accor­ding to the indus­try stan­dards in force at the time.

This was fol­lo­wed a few years later by the pro­duct pre­miè­re of the first high-speed chain hoists with inte­gra­ted posi­tio­ning and load mea­su­re­ment, which were used on tours by the Rol­ling Stones, Metal­li­ca, Madon­na and the Euro­vi­si­on Song Con­test, among others.

In addi­ti­on to pro­jects such as the Gewand­haus Leip­zig, Qatar Natio­nal Con­ven­ti­on Cent­re or the Mari­na Bay Retail Cent­re in Sin­ga­po­re, Eilen­burg pro­ducts have also been used at the Olym­pic Games and other sport­ing events such as the Foot­ball World Cup in Qatar.

The Har­tung fami­ly is curr­ent­ly invol­ved in busi­ness are­as such as new food, vete­ri­na­ry cli­nics and other inno­va­ti­on-ori­en­ta­ted indus­tries. The Har­tung Foun­da­ti­on also sup­ports cul­tu­ral and eco­no­mic pro­jects in the regi­on and bey­ond. Deca­des of inter­na­tio­nal busi­ness expe­ri­ence are con­tri­bu­ted into various fields as a source of inspi­ra­ti­on and new pul­ses for inno­va­ti­on and pro­gress.
